Centurion Lounge Access Policy

The Centurion Lounge access policy guarantees an exceptional experience:

Platinum Card and Business Platinum Card members can access Centurion Lounges.
Complimentary access is extended to the primary cardholder and any authorized card user.
Additional guests may join for a fee of $50 per person aged 18 or older or $30 per guest aged 2 through 17 with proof of age.

Tip: You can enjoy complimentary guest access with the American Express Platinum Card in two ways:

Spend $75,000 on your Amex Platinum or Amex Business Platinum Card each calendar year.
Add family members as authorized users to your card. Authorized users with a Centurion or Platinum Card also have free access, so consider adding up to three authorized users to the personal Platinum Card for a total of $175 per year.

Access to Other Lounge Networks

While Centurion Lounges offer an exquisite experience, not all airports host one. Thus, AMEX Platinum and Business Platinum cardholders can access a variety of lounges within other networks.

Delta Sky Club Lounges: Accessible when flying on a Delta-operated flight. Simply present your Platinum Card and same-day boarding pass. Platinum cardmembers may also purchase guest access for up to two traveling companions.

Priority Pass Select Lounges: Your American Express Platinum Card grants you access to Priority Pass lounges, ensuring you can relax and enjoy amenities at various airports worldwide. Platinum Card members are entitled to complimentary membership in Priority Pass Select. This membership provides access to more than 1,400 lounges worldwide but doesn’t include Priority Pass restaurant lounges. The quality of each Priority Pass lounge varies, but there are some excellent Priority Pass lounges.

To access Priority Pass Select Lounges, follow these steps:

Enroll: Register for Priority Pass Select on Amex’s website or by calling Platinum Travel Services.
Receive Your Card: Once registered, your Priority Pass card will arrive in the mail.
Present Your Card: Hand your Priority Pass card and same-day boarding pass to the front desk attendant at Priority Pass lounges to gain access.

Please note that some Priority Pass lounges have limited hours for Priority Pass guests, and lounges can turn you away if they’re at capacity.

You can bring up to two guests with you on each visit, as long as the individual lounge accepts guests. If you have additional guests, the lounge will charge you $32 per guest.

Escape Lounges – The Centurion Studio Partner: Experience comfort and convenience in Escape Lounges, where you can enjoy complimentary food, drinks, and Wi-Fi services. Escape Lounges provide an excellent option for travelers in the U.S. You can access U.S. Escape Lounges by showing your Platinum Card, government-issued identification, and a confirmed same-day boarding pass. You may bring two guests — or immediate family members (spouse or domestic partner and all children under the age of 18) — with you for no additional cost. However, any other guests will need to purchase a day pass.

Hartford County, Connecticut (BDL).
Cincinnati (CVG).
Columbus (CMH).
Fort Lauderdale (FLL).
Greenville-Spartanburg, South Carolina (GSP).
Minneapolis-St. Paul (MSP).

Palm Beach, Florida (PBI).
Phoenix (PHX) Terminals 3 and 4.
Providence (PVD).
Reno (RNO).
Sacramento (SMF) terminals A and B.

Plaza Premium Lounges: Known for their comfortable seating and delicious dining options. Some, but not all, Plaza Premium lounges participate in Priority Pass. However, you can access over 70 Plaza Premium lounge locations worldwide with your Platinum Card. You’ll need to show your Platinum Card, government-issued identification, and a confirmed same-day boarding pass to enter. You may enter with one guest for no additional cost. Other guests will need to purchase a day pass; the cost of a day pass varies by location.

Lufthansa Lounges: Enjoy premium services, especially when traveling internationally. Platinum cardmembers can use select Lufthansa lounges when flying Lufthansa Group airlines (Lufthansa, Swiss, Austrian Airlines, and Brussels Airlines). However, not all Lufthansa lounges participate, so check Amex’s lounge finder page. At participating locations, you’ll need to show your Platinum Card, a government-issued photo ID, and a boarding pass for a same-day Lufthansa Group flight. No guests are included, but some locations may allow guests for a fee.

Other Global Lounge Collection Partner Lounges: Your AMEX Platinum Card might grant access to various partner lounges, enhancing your travel experience.
